Abstract
An optical sensor device for detecting faults in mechanical weeders and subsoilers supported by a support bracket attached to the frame, The optical sensor device (8) includes a tubular housing with an infrared guide (10), inside which an electronic circuit (13) connected to a transmitting infrared LED (15) and a receiving phototransistor (16) arranged in parallel is housed. The tubular housing with the infrared guide (10) is protected by a polycarbonate protective lens (14) and closed with a cap (11), where the mentioned optical sensor device (8) is fixed by a mounting base (9) and connected through a power and data cable (12), which is integrated into a LIN network linking it to the operator's control panel.
