Abstract
Described is a housing for optical elements of an optical receiver of a system. The optical elements are configured to be placed in a reception path of an optical reception signal of the optical receiver and to influence the optical reception signal of the optical receiver. The housing includes an asymmetrical shape with at least a partial reduction such that the intensity of the reception signal received from a high incident angle is increased.

A housing for optical elements of an optical receiver of a system wherein the optical elements are configured to be placed in a reception path of an optical reception signal of the optical receiver, and to influence the optical reception signal of the optical receiver, wherein the housing comprises an asymmetrical shape with at least a partial reduction such that an intensity of the reception signal received from a high incident angle is increased.
