Systems and methods for detecting the presence of a floating neutral condition are disclosed. The system includes a control circuit communicatively connected to a plurality of appliances. The control circuit is configured to instruct each appliance of the plurality of appliances to: record a first set of voltage data corresponding to at least one terminal of the electrical circuit; apply a load on the electrical circuit; record a second set of voltage data corresponding to the at least one terminal after the load is applied; and transmit the first and second sets of voltage data to the control circuit. The control circuit is further configured to: analyze the first and second sets of voltage data to detect a presence of a floating neutral condition; and instruct at least one appliance of the plurality of appliances to execute one or more operations based on the presence of the floating neutral condition.
