Abstract
Methods and apparatus for a multipath device, such as a current sensor. Example embodiments include a low pass filter to receive a first signal within a first frequency range for a first signal path and a second low pass filter to receive a second signal within a second frequency range for a second signal path, wherein the second frequency range is higher than the first frequency range. A network receives the filtered first signal and the filtered second signal, which has a corner frequency aligned with a crossover frequency of the network for generating a high pass output signal from the second low pass filter with a flat frequency response above the crossover frequency.
Claims21
A sensor, comprising:
- a low pass filter to receive a first signal within a first frequency range for a first signal path;
- a second low pass filter to receive a second signal within a second frequency range for a second signal path, wherein the second frequency range is higher than the first frequency range;
- and
- a network to receive the filtered first signal and the filtered second signal, wherein the second low pass filter has a corner frequency aligned with a crossover frequency of the network for generating a high pass output signal from the second low pass filter with a flat frequency response above the crossover frequency.
A method, comprising:
- low pass filtering, with a first low pass filter, a first signal within a first frequency range for a first signal path;
- second low pass filtering, with a second low pass filter, a second signal within a second frequency range for a second signal path, wherein the second frequency range is higher than the first frequency range;
- and
- receiving, with a network, the filtered first signal and the filtered second signal, wherein the second low pass filter has a corner frequency aligned with a crossover frequency of the network for generating a high pass output signal from the second low pass filter with a flat frequency response above the crossover frequency.
