Claims27
A method for examining feline renal dysfunction, comprising:
- measuring a level of one or more D-amino acids selected from the group consisting of D-tyrosine, D-methionine, D-tryptophane, D-ornithine, and D-histidine in urine of a subject cat.
A method for assessing an effect of a preventive or therapeutic intervention for feline renal dysfunction, the method comprising:
- measuring a level of one or more D-amino acids selected from the group consisting of D-tyrosine, D-methionine, D-tryptophane, D-ornithine, and D-histidine in urine of a subject cat in the presence of the intervention.
A method for examining feline renal dysfunction, comprising:
- measuring a total concentration of all D-amino acids that can be measured by an enzyme assay using a D-amino acid oxidase in urine of a subject cat by the assay.
