Abstract

A gas collection device includes a lower jig part having a battery penetration defined therein, a sealing part having a close loop shape located above the lower jig part, and an upper jig part having a battery insertion groove defined therein and a gas diffusion space. The upper jig part is coupled to the lower jig part and the sealing part is located in between the lower jig part and the upper jig part. Both ends parts of the lower jig part are open. The gas collection device is configured to collect in real time, gas generated in a cylindrical secondary battery. A gas analysis device using the gas collection device is also provided.
