Abstract

A pressure sensor and an electrical appliance wherein the pressure sensor includes a housing and a diaphragm. The housing has a housing chamber. The diaphragm is positioned within the housing chamber and includes: a support portion, a thin membrane portion, and an elastic compensation portion. The thin membrane portion surrounds the support portion and extends from a support portion edge of the support portion. The elastic compensation portion extends downward from the support portion and is supported by the housing. The elastic compensation portion is provided with a cavity therein. By providing the cavity inside the elastic compensation portion of the pressure sensor of the present disclosure, the downward protruding portion of the elastic compensation portion is less prone to bending deformation deviating from the vertical direction during deformation, thereby making the oscillating electrical signal more accurate.
