A coupling device, a kit, and a heat transfer arrangement comprising the same

A coupling device for fluidly connecting a refrigerant recirculation loop to a heat exchanger refrigerant port of a heat exchanger in a heat pump, wherein said heat exchanger refrigerant port extends into the heat exchanger from a refrigerant port opening end towards a refrigerant port bottom end and fluidly connects to internal heat exchange channels of the heat exchanger, said coupling device comprising:

• a main body having an inner conduit line which has a constant cross-sectional area (A1) as seen transverse to a refrigerant flow direction (L), said main body comprising:
• an attachment portion structured and arranged to be attachable to the heat exchanger at the refrigerant port opening end, said attachment portion having a connecting port for connecting to a fluid conduit system of the refrigerant recirculation loop, said connecting port being fluidly communicating with the inner conduit line, and
• a distributing portion which has an elongated extension (E1) from a first end where it connects to the attachment portion, and a second end, opposite to the first end, wherein the inner conduit line mouths at the second end,
• wherein the coupling device further comprises a filter unit (arranged at the second end of the distributing portion in a manner allowing refrigerant which passes the inner conduit line to pass the filter unit to be filtered,
• wherein the coupling device is structured and arranged such that, when mounted onto the heat exchanger, the distributing portion protrudes into the heat exchanger refrigerant port from the refrigerant port opening end towards the refrigerant port bottom end such that the filter unit will be disposed in a vicinity of the refrigerant port bottom end, and such that a flow passage interconnecting the inner conduit line of the coupling device with the internal heat exchange channels of the heat exchanger is defined between exterior walls of the distributing portion and interior walls of the heat exchanger refrigerant port.
