Aspects of the disclosure are directed to an apparatus and/or method involving an evaporator section to receive heat, a condenser section to dissipate heat, and a closed-loop fluid channel having a plurality of alternating wicking and evaporated fluid sections connected in series and passing through the evaporator section and the condenser section, to provide unidirectional fluid flow within the fluid channel. The wicking sections extend between the condenser section and the evaporator section. Each wicking section has a wicking component within the fluid channel to wick condensed fluid within the fluid channel from the condenser section to the evaporator section. The evaporated fluid sections extend between the evaporator section and the condenser section to pass evaporated fluid within the fluid channel from the evaporator section to the condenser section.
