Abstract
A wickless heat pipe includes a body extending along a body axis from a first end to an opposing second end and defines an interior space. A liquid working fluid is retained within the interior space of the body and includes a mixture of a first liquid and a second liquid that is different from the first liquid. The mixture is about a 50:50 binary mixture of the first liquid and the second liquid, and the fill ratio of the liquid working fluid is about 10%.

A wickless heat pipe comprising:
- a body extending along a body axis from a first end to an opposing second end and defining an interior space;
- and
- a liquid working fluid retained within the interior space of the body and comprising a mixture of a first liquid and a second liquid that is different from the first liquid,
- wherein the mixture is about a 50:50 binary mixture of the first liquid and the second liquid,
- wherein a fill ratio of the liquid working fluid is about 10%.

A method of manufacturing a wickless heat pipe, comprising:
- structuring a body to extend along a body axis from a first end to an opposing second end and to define an interior space;
- forming a liquid working fluid from a mixture of a first liquid and a second liquid that is different from the first liquid, wherein the mixture comprised approximately a 50:50 binary mixture of the first liquid and the second liquid;
- filling the interior space of the body of the body with the liquid working fluid to a fill ratio that is about 10%;
- and
- sealing the first end and the second end of the body to retain the liquid working fluid.
