In one aspect, a cooling block assembly comprises a housing configured as an upper enclosure. The cooling block assembly further comprises a pair of fittings coupled to the housing, the pair of fittings comprising a coolant inlet fitting and a coolant outlet fitting. The cooling block assembly further comprises a gasket positioned beneath the housing. The cooling block assembly further comprises a copper micro-fin block positioned beneath the gasket, the copper micro-fin block comprising a plurality of copper fins, each of the copper fins having a fin thickness of approximately 0.3 millimeters and a fin height of approximately 0.3 millimeters. The housing, the gasket, and the copper micro-fin block together define an internal coolant chamber fluidly coupled to the pair of fittings.
