Abstract
A method for removing hydrogen from a liquid-hydrogen tank having an integrated heating device for evaporating liquid hydrogen and having an emptying line for removing evaporated hydrogen. The method includes supplying heating power for removal of the evaporated hydrogen in order to maintain a tank pressure, detecting a temporal course of the heating power and/or of the tank pressure, and monitoring the temporal course for a sudden change in the heating power and/or a pressure gradient of the tank pressure.

A method for removing hydrogen from a liquid-hydrogen tank (1) having an integrated heating device (5) for evaporating liquid hydrogen and having an emptying line (4) for removing evaporated hydrogen, comprising the steps of:
- supplying heating power for removal of the evaporated hydrogen in order to maintain a tank pressure;
- detecting a temporal course of the heating power and/or of the tank pressure;
- and
- monitoring the temporal course for a sudden change in the heating power and/or a pressure gradient of the tank pressure.
