A pop-up ballistic bunker device comprising:

• a lid;
• a skirt base comprising a side wall extending from the skirt base;
• a lift coupled to the skirt base and configured to raise and lower the lid relative to the skirt base;
• a support arm unit capable of raising or supporting the lid above the skirt base;
• a plurality of horizontal support brackets configured to be secured to the support arm unit;
• a door;
• a wheel;
• and
• a plurality of ballistic panels removably positioned within the plurality of support brackets.

A pop-up ballistic bunker device comprising:

• a lid;
• a skirt base comprising a side wall extending from the skirt base;
• a lift coupled to the skirt base and configured to raise and lower the lid relative to the skirt base;
• a support arm unit comprising:
• a first folding support arm pivotally attached to a second folding support arm via a pivot joint,
• an expansion joint, and
• a mounting bracket;
• a plurality of support brackets configured to be secured to the support arm unit;
• a door;
• a wheel;
• an independent suspension and drive system;
• a plurality of ballistic panels removably positioned within the plurality of support brackets;
• an insulated cover;
• a vestibule attached to the cover;
• a solar power system comprising a solar panel and a battery storage system;
• and
• an environmental control unit.
