Abstract
A method for assembling track segments in which a first jig having a first positioning rack gear is installed at one end part of a base in a traveling direction of a truck; a rack gear is engaged with the first positioning rack gear, and fixed to the base so as to extend in a traveling direction A; a second jig having a second positioning rack gear is installed at the other end part of the base in the traveling direction so that the second positioning rack gear engages with the rack gear; and rails are arranged between the first jig and the second jig so as to extend in the traveling direction A, and are fixed to the base.
Claims17
A method of assembling a track segment including a base, a rail and a rack gear, and forming a track on which a carriage travels, the method comprising:
- placing a first jig including a first positioning rack gear at an end portion of the base in one direction of a traveling direction of the carriage;
- engaging the rack gear with the first positioning rack gear, and fixing the rack gear to the base so as to extend in the traveling direction;
- placing a second jig including a second positioning rack gear at an end portion of the base in the other direction of the traveling direction so as to engage the second positioning rack gear with the rack gear;
- and
- arranging the rail between the first jig and the second jig so as to extend in the traveling direction, and fixing the rail to the base.
A jig to be placed at a base in order to assemble a track segment including the base, a rail and a rack gear and forming a track on which a carriage travels, the jig comprising:
- a positioning rack gear arranged at an end portion of the base in a traveling direction of the carriage so as to extend in the traveling direction, the positioning rack gear being configured to position the rack gear at a predetermined position relative to the base by engaging with the rack gear fixed to the base.
A track segment forming a track on which a carriage travels, the track segment comprising:
- a base;
- a rail laid on the base so as to extend in a traveling direction of the carriage, and on which the carriage travels;
- and
- a rack gear laid on the base so as to extend in the traveling direction, and engaging with a drive part provided at the carriage in order to generate power for causing the carriage to travel on the rail,
- wherein an end face of the rail in one direction of the traveling direction is arranged to be shifted toward the one direction of the traveling direction from an end face of the rack gear in the one direction of the traveling direction, and
- wherein an end face of the rail in the other direction of the traveling direction is arranged to be shifted toward the other direction of the traveling direction from an end face of the rack gear in the other direction of the traveling direction.
