Abstract
A device for manufacturing a fibrous web. The device includes a turbulence chamber having an inlet which introduces a fiber foam into the turbulence chamber, and an outlet side for discharging the fiber foam from the turbulence chamber. The turbulence chamber generates a shear rate of at least 10 sec−1 throughout the turbulence chamber.

A device for manufacturing a fibrous web, the device comprising a turbulence chamber which comprises:
- an inlet which is configured to introduce a fiber foam into the turbulence chamber;

- an outlet side for discharging the fiber foam from the turbulence chamber,

- the turbulence chamber is configured to generate a shear rate of at least 10 sec−1 throughout the turbulence chamber.

- on a feed side, an inlet which is configured to introduce a fiber foam, in a stream, into the turbulence chamber;
- a guide side which is arranged opposite to the feed side;

- an outlet side which is configured to discharge the fiber foam from the turbulence chamber, the outlet side being arranged opposite to the end side,

- at least one of the guide side and the end side is/are at least partially curved so as to deflect the fiber foam.
