Abstract
A rope assembly, comprising an inner load-carrying rope that is adapted for providing a load-bearing connection between a first attachment point and a second attachment point; and an outer protective sleeve that is loosely arranged on the inner load-carrying rope and encloses the inner load-carrying rope; wherein the outer protective sleeve is longer than the inner load-carrying rope in loaded condition.

A rope assembly, comprising:
- an inner load-carrying rope that is adapted for providing a load-bearing connection between a first attachment point and a second attachment point;
- and
- an outer protective sleeve that is loosely arranged on the inner load-carrying rope and encloses the inner load-carrying rope;
- wherein the outer protective sleeve is longer than the inner load-carrying rope in loaded condition.
