Abstract
An inkjet recording method including a step [a] and a step [b] described below, wherein a recording medium is not heated in the step [a], the recording medium is heated by a heating member in the step [b], and the recording medium is an absorptive recording medium. Step [a]: An ink application step of applying an inkjet ink to a recording medium, wherein the inkjet ink contains at least a polymerizable compound, a polymerization initiator, and water. Step [b]: An irradiation step of irradiating the inkjet ink applied to the recording medium that has undergone at least the step [a] with an active energy ray controlled by a member different from the heating member.
Claims18
An inkjet recording method comprising a step [a] and a step [b] described below, wherein a recording medium is not heated in the step [a], and the recording medium is heated by a heating member in the step [b]:
- step [a]:
- an ink application step of applying, to a recording medium, an inkjet ink containing at least a polymerizable compound, a polymerization initiator, and water;
- and
- step [b]:
- an irradiation step of irradiating the inkjet ink applied to the recording medium that has undergone at least the step [a] with an active energy ray controlled by a member different from the heating member.
An inkjet recording apparatus used for recording an image onto an absorptive recording medium, the apparatus comprising:
- an ink application member [c] for applying, to the absorptive recording medium, an inkjet ink containing a polymerizable compound, a polymerization initiator, and water without heating the absorptive recording medium;
- an irradiation member [d] for irradiating the inkjet ink applied to the absorptive recording medium with an active energy ray;
- and
- a heating member [e] for heating the absorptive recording medium during irradiation with the active energy ray,
- wherein the irradiation member [d] and the heating member [e] are individually controllable.
An inkjet recording apparatus used for recording an image onto a recording medium, the apparatus comprising:
- an ink application member [c] for applying, to the recording medium, an inkjet ink containing a polymerizable compound, a polymerization initiator, and water without heating the recording medium;
- an irradiation member [d] for irradiating the inkjet ink applied to the recording medium with an active energy ray;
- and
- a heating member [e] for heating the recording medium during irradiation with the active energy ray,
- wherein the irradiation member [d] and the heating member [e] are individually controllable, and
- the polymerizable compound is present in the form of particles in the inkjet ink.
