Hydroentangled nonwoven comprising cellulosic filaments

Abstract

A hydroentangled nonwoven including manmade cellulosic filaments, natural cellulosic fibres, and manmade staple fibres, is disclosed. The manmade staple fibres have a length of 10 to 20 mm. A wipe including the hydroentangled nonwoven and a method of producing the wipe are further disclosed. A method of producing a nonwoven, wherein a web of manmade cellulosic filaments is provided and natural cellulosic fibres and manmade staple fibres are wet-formed on top of the web of manmade cellulosic filaments, thus forming a fibrous web including the manmade cellulosic filaments, natural cellulosic fibres and manmade staple fibres, is further disclosed. The fibrous web is subsequently hydroentangled to form the nonwoven.
