Potassium iridium ruthenate catalyst and preparation method therefor

Abstract

A potassium iridium ruthenate catalyst and a preparation method therefor are provided. The method includes: dissolving an iridium source material and a ruthenium source material in a first liquid to generate a first solution; adding a chelating agent and/or a surfactant to the first solution to generate a second solution; performing ultrasonication and/or stirring of the second solution for a certain period of time to generate a third solution; adding an auxiliary oxidizing agent to the third solution to generate a fourth solution, and stirring the fourth solution for a certain period of time to obtain a potassium iridium ruthenate precursor powder; performing calcination-induced oxidation on the potassium iridium ruthenate precursor powder to obtain an initial catalyst; and performing filtration and washing of the initial catalyst, and heating and drying same to obtain a potassium iridium ruthenate catalyst. A brand-new synthesis strategy for preparing an OER electrocatalyst is provided.
