A gamma-prime strengthened nickel-based alloy includes, in weight percentages based on total weight of the nickel-base alloy: 15% to 18% chromium; 16% to 19% cobalt; 2% to 4% molybdenum; 1.5% to 5% tungsten; 0 to 2% niobium; 1% to 3% aluminum; 2% to 5% titanium; 0 to 2% tantalum; 0 to 4% iron; 0 to 0.5% hafnium; 0 to 0.2% carbon; 0 to 0.02% boron; 0 to 0.1% zirconium; and nickel, where the nickel-based alloy has a Tieq/Aleq ratio of 0.9 to 1.25, and Tieq of 2.0 to 7.15, and the nickel-based alloy has 25-40% gamma-prime as measured at 1500° F. Also disclosed is a method of forming a component that includes providing a powder comprising the nickel-base alloy; additively manufacturing the component from the powder; and heat treating the additively manufactured component.
