Abstract
Block polymers and engine lubricant compositions containing the block polymers and a mineral base oil are provided. The block polymers contain a first block and a second block. The first block is a copolymer of 1,3-butadiene and ethylene, containing more than 90 mol % of ethylene units, the molar percentage being expressed relative to the total number of constituent repeat units of the first block. The second block is a homopolymer of a vinylpyridine.
