Abstract
An adhesive may include at least one adhesive monomer configured to take part in the polymerization reaction and the curing reaction. The adhesive monomer may include at least one hydroxy group in the non-polymerized state, at least one polymerization agent, at least one polymerization accelerator, and at least one curing agent which is UV-activatable. The polymerization agent may include at least one cyclic anhydride group in the non-polymerized state. A weight percentage of the curing agent may range from 10 to 50 times a weight percentage of the polymerization accelerator, the weight percentages relating to the entire adhesive without fillers.
Claims14
An adhesive comprising:
- at least one adhesive monomer comprising at least one hydroxy group in a non-polymerized state;
- at least one polymerization agent that is heat-activatable, wherein the at least one polymerization agent comprises at least one cyclic anhydride group in a non-polymerized state;
- at least one polymerization accelerator;
- and
- at least one curing agent that is UV-activatable;
- wherein a weight percentage of the at least one curing agent ranges from 10 to 50 times a weight percentage of the at least one polymerization accelerator as compared to the entire adhesive without fillers.
