Abstract
A thermochromic paint for a component. The thermochromic paint comprises: 20 to 40 wt. % of two of more metal oxides selected from aluminium oxide, cobalt oxide, iron oxide, nickel oxide, titanium oxide, and zirconium oxide; 10 to 40 wt. % of an acrylic resin, 5 to 30 wt. % a silicone resin; and 15 to 40 wt. % of a propanol-based solvent.

A thermochromic paint for a component, the thermochromic paint comprising:
- 20 to 40 wt. % of two or more metal oxides selected from aluminium oxide, cobalt oxide, iron oxide, nickel oxide, titanium oxide, and zirconium oxide;
- 10 to 40 wt. % of an acrylic resin;
- 5 to 30 wt. % of a silicone resin;
- and
- 15 to 45 wt. % of a propanol-based solvent.

A method for preparing a thermochromic paint, the method comprising mixing the following constituents:
- 20 to 40 wt. % of two or more metal oxides selected from aluminium oxide, cobalt oxide, iron oxide, nickel oxide, titanium oxide, and zirconium oxide;
- 10 to 40 wt. % of an acrylic resin;
- 5 to 30 wt. % of a silicone resin;
- and 15 to 45 wt. % of a propanol-based solvent.
