Abstract
Provided is a technology capable of stably recovering and reusing THF to be used as a solvent for depolymerization in polymerizing and regenerating a blend resin. A blend resin regeneration apparatus includes a depolymerization tank that allows for depolymerization of a blend resin including a polyester resin in a solution including a strong base dissolved in a solvent including tetrahydrofuran and methanol; a storage tank that stores the solvent recovered from a reaction liquid after the depolymerization; and a first supplier that supplies the strong base into the storage tank.
Claims7
A blend resin regeneration apparatus comprising:
- a depolymerization tank that allows for depolymerization of a blend resin comprising polyester resin in a solution comprising a strong base dissolved in a solvent comprising tetrahydrofuran and methanol;
- a storage tank that stores the solvent recovered from a reaction liquid after the depolymerization;
- and
- a first supplier that supplies the strong base into the storage tank.
A method for regenerating a blend resin, the method comprising:
- a depolymerization reaction step including depolymerizing a blend resin comprising polyester resin in a solution comprising a strong base dissolved in a solvent including tetrahydrofuran and methanol;
- and
- a solvent storage step including supplying the strong base to the solvent recovered from a reaction liquid after the depolymerization, and storing the solvent.
