Abstract

The present invention relates to fusion proteins comprising IF1 protein or a peptide derived therefrom and an Fc region of an immunoglobulin, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same. The fusion protein according to the present invention exhibits improved pharmacological efficacy, in vivo persistence and stability of proteins, and the pharmaceutical composition comprising the fusion protein as an active ingredient can be usefully used as a therapeutic agent for cancer, neurological diseases, diabetes, obesity diseases, dyslipidemia, metabolic diseases, nonalcoholic fatty liver diseases, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, hair loss prevention or hair growth promotion, sarcopenia, and obese sarcopenia.
