Abstract
The present invention relates to methods and compositions for treating and/or preventing a disease or disorder associated with abnormally high level of the IFP35 family of proteins, including IFP35 and NMI, methods and compositions for diagnosis, prognosis or treatment monitoring of a disease or disorder associated with abnormally high level of the IFP35 family of proteins, including IFP35 and NMI, and methods and compositions for identifying a modulator of the IFP35 family of proteins, including IFP35 and NMI.
Claims16
A method of diagnosis, prognosis or treatment monitoring of a disease or disorder associated with abnormally high level and/or activity of NMI in a subject, which method comprises:
- a) obtaining a biological sample from the subject;
- b) detecting the level and/or activity of NMI by immunodetection techniques;
- wherein the level is at least 10% higher than a level and/or an activity of NMI in a healthy control or exceeds 19.57 pg/mL;
- and
- c) administering to the subject having disease or disorder associated with 10 abnormally high level and/or activity of NMI a detection reagent that specifically binds to NMI;
- wherein the detection reagent comprises antibody.
