Abstract
The present invention pertains to: a stable equivalent of 2,2″-bis(1-phosphinoethyl)-1,1″-biferrocene or the like that is useful as a ligand in various catalytic reactions but is difficult to synthesize or isolate and purify; and a method for efficiently producing the stable equivalent. The present invention provides: a diphosphine-diborane complex represented by general formula (1·(BH3)2); and a method that is for producing the diphosphine-diborane complex, and that comprises sequentially reacting a magnesium source and an oxidizing agent with a phosphine-borane complex.
Claims9
A diphosphine-diborane complex represented by the following general formula (1·(BH3)2):
- wherein,
- a solid line represents a single bond, and a dashed line represents a coordinate bond;
- H represents a hydrogen atom, B represents a boron atom, C represents a carbon atom, and P represents a phosphorus atom;
- Me represents a methyl group;
- Fe represents a divalent iron ion, a pentagon containing a circle represents a cyclopentadienyl anion, and a bold line represents six-electron donation of the cyclopentadienyl anion to Fe;
- RP represents a group selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a heteroaryl group, and an aryl group which may have a substituent.
