A compound having a structure according to Formula I:
- wherein
- R1 and R2 are each independently H, alkyl, OH, SH, alkoxy, alkylthio, aryloxy, arylthio, alkyl, aryl, arylmethyl, arylmethoxy, F, Cl, Br, I, CF3, CF2H, CN, NO2, NH2, NH(alkyl), NH(aryl), N(alkyl)2, NH(CO)(alkyl), or NH(CO)(aryl), or R1 and R2 taken together with the atoms to which they are attached form a 1,3-dioxolane ring and have the structure
- wherein Y and Z are each independently H, alkyl, or aryl;
- R3 is H, alkyl, OH, SH, alkoxy, alkylthio, aryloxy, arylthio, alkyl, aryl, arylmethyl, arylmethoxy, F, Cl, Br, I, CF3, CF2H, CN, NO2, NH2, NH(alkyl), NH(aryl), N(alkyl)2, NH(CO)(alkyl), or NH(CO)(aryl);
- R4 and R5 are each independent H, alkyl, OH, SH, alkoxy, alkylthio, aryloxy, arylthio, alkyl, aryl, arylmethyl, arylmethoxy, F, Cl, Br, I, CF3, CF2H, CN, NO2, NH2, NH(alkyl), NH(aryl), N(alkyl)2, NH(CO)(alkyl), or NH(CO)(aryl), or R4 and R5 taken together with the atoms to which they are attached form a fused aromatic ring;
- L is a bond or an aromatic ring;
- R6 is H, alkyl, OH, SH, alkoxy, alkylthio, aryloxy, arylthio, alkyl, aryl, arylmethyl, arylmethoxy, F, Cl, Br, I, CF3, CF2H, CN, NO2, NH2, NH(alkyl), NH(aryl), N(alkyl)2, NH(CO)(alkyl), or NH(CO)(aryl);
- R7, R8, R9, and R10 are each independently H, alkyl, OH, SH, alkoxy, alkylthio, aryloxy, arylthio, alkyl, aryl, arylmethyl, arylmethoxy, F, Cl, Br, I, CF3, CF2H, CN, NO2, NH2, NH(alkyl), NH(aryl), N(alkyl)2, NH(CO)(alkyl), or NH(CO)(aryl);
- and
