Abstract
Provided is a technology that enables separating and recycling a depolymerization product of a blend resin including polyester resin having a terephthalic acid unit. A method for separating a depolymerization product includes a neutralization step including neutralizing an aqueous solution with a strong acid that is stronger than terephthalic acid, the aqueous solution including a depolymerization product after a depolymerization reaction of a blend resin including polyester resin having a terephthalic acid unit; and a liquid separation step including adding an ester-based extraction solvent to the aqueous solution after the neutralization, thereby performing liquid separation. The strong acid is preferably sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid.
Claims5
A method for separating a depolymerization product, the method comprising:
- a neutralization step including neutralizing an aqueous solution with a strong acid that is stronger than terephthalic acid, the aqueous solution comprising a depolymerization product after a depolymerization reaction of a blend resin comprising polyester resin having a terephthalic acid unit;
- and
- a liquid separation step including adding an ester-based extraction solvent to the aqueous solution after the neutralization, thereby performing liquid separation.
