There is provided herein high tensile strength cementitious matrices for use with a fabric-reinforced cementitious matrix (FRCM) system for repairing a concrete substrate. The FRCM systems include a high tensile strength cementitious matrix according to the present disclosure and a fabric mesh. The high tensile strength cementitious matrices can have an ultimate strength that is at least 1/600th of the ultimate strength of the fabric mesh or at least 2.5 MPa. The high tensile strength cementitious matrices can have a compression strength of at least 70 MPa. The FRCM system can have an ultimate strength that is at least 50% of the ultimate strength of the fabric mesh. The high tensile strength cementitious matrix can exhibit microcracks having a width of less than 100 μm at a service load of the concrete substrate. The high tensile strength cementitious matrix can include 0.3% wt to 8% wt fibers.
A fabric-reinforced cementitious matrix (FRCM) system for a concrete substrate, the FRCM system comprising a high tensile strength cementitious matrix and a fabric mesh, wherein an ultimate strength of the high tensile strength cementitious matrix is at least 1/600th of an ultimate strength of the fabric mesh or at least 2.5 MPa.
A fabric-reinforced cementitious matrix (FRCM) system for a concrete substrate, the FRCM system comprising a high tensile strength cementitious matrix and a fabric mesh, wherein the high tensile strength cementitious matrix has a compression strength of at least 70 MPa.
