Abstract
A window includes a glass substrate having a thickness of about 50 μm to about 100 μm. The glass substrate includes about 5 mol % to about 45 mol % of SiO2, about 5 mol % to about 30 mol % of R2O, and about 45 mol % to about 90 mol % of A2O3, based on an entirety of the glass substrate, where R is at least one selected from K, Na, and Li, and A is at least one selected from B and Al. In a temperature range of about −40° C. to about 200° C., a Young's modulus of the glass substrate is about 30 GPa to about 50 GPa.
Claims20
A window comprising:
- a glass substrate having a thickness of about 50 micrometers (μm) to about 100 μm,
- wherein the glass substrate comprises about 5 mole percents (mol %) to about 45 mol % of SiO2, about 5 mol % to about 30 mol % of R2O, and about 45 mol % to about 90 mol % of A2O3, based on an entirety of the glass substrate,
- wherein R is at least one selected from potassium (K), sodium (Na), and lithium (Li), and
- A is at least one selected from boron (B) and aluminum (Al),
- wherein, in a temperature range of about −40° C. to about 200° C., a Young's modulus of the glass substrate is about 30 gigapascals (GPa) to about 50 GPa.
A display device comprising:
- a display module;
- and
- a window disposed on the display module and comprising a glass substrate having a thickness of about 50 μm to about 100 μm,
- wherein the glass substrate comprises about 5 mol % to about 45 mol % of SiO2, about 5 mol % to about 30 mol % of R2O, and about 45 mol % to about 90 mol % of A2O3, based on an entirety of the glass substrate,
- wherein R is at least one selected from K, Na, and Li, and
- A is at least one selected from B and Al.
An electronic device comprising:
- a display module;
- and
- a window disposed on the display module and comprising a glass substrate having a thickness of about 50 μm to about 100 μm,
- wherein the glass substrate comprises about 5 mol % to about 45 mol % of SiO2, about 5 mol % to about 30 mol % of R2O, and about 45 mol % to about 90 mol % of A2O3, based on an entirety of the glass substrate,
- wherein R is at least one selected from K, Na, and Li, and
- A is at least one selected from B and Al,
- wherein, in a temperature range of about −40° C. to about 200° C., a Young's modulus of the glass substrate is about 30 GPa to about 50 GPa.
