Abstract
Process for producing iron chloride and aluminium chloride, characterized in that it comprises i) reacting a sewage sludge ash containing at least one iron compound and aluminium compound with at least one alkali metal chloride and/or at least one alkaline earth metal chloride at a temperature of 200° C. to 1100° C. in an inert gas atmosphere and ii) withdrawing and isolating the formed iron chloride and aluminium chloride in the offgas stream.
Claims12
A process for producing iron chloride and aluminium chloride, the process comprises
- i) reacting a sewage sludge ash containing at least one iron compound and aluminium compound with at least one alkali metal chloride and/or at least one alkaline earth metal chloride at a temperature of 200° C. to 1100° C. in an inert gas atmosphere and
- ii) withdrawing and isolating the formed iron chloride and aluminium chloride in the offgas stream.
A process for producing water-soluble phosphate compounds having a water solubility at 20° C. of greater than 1 g/l, wherein the process comprises
- i) reacting a sewage sludge ash containing at least one iron compound and aluminium compound with at least one alkali metal chloride and/or at least one alkaline earth metal chloride at a temperature of 200° C. to 1100° C. in an inert gas atmosphere,
- ii) withdrawing the formed iron chloride and aluminium chloride in the offgas stream and
- iii) treating the obtained residue by addition of 0.1 to 5 mol of a mineral acid per mole of phosphate in the residue to afford water-soluble phosphate compounds.
