Abstract
A one-pot method for producing multipod silica nanoparticles includes the steps of: adding a sodium halide solution to a silica precursor solution; and heat-treating the resulting solution to synthesize silica nanoparticles.

A method for producing multipod silica nanoparticles, comprising:
- adding a sodium halide to a silica precursor solution;
- and heat-treating the solution to synthesize the multipod silica nanoparticles.
