A system for processing natural gas from a natural gas source to produce hydrogen gas, H2, comprises a quick connect connector configured to connect to the natural gas source to receive natural gas therefrom. A detector for sampling the received natural gas to determine the molecular structure and molecular weight by percentage of the constituents that are present in the received natural gas. The natural gas containing a plurality of hydrocarbons and a plurality of non-hydrocarbons, the plurality of non-hydrocarbons being trash gases. The detector determining the total amount of Carbon by percentage in the received natural gas. A gas separator configured to separate each of the plurality of hydrocarbons into a separate hydrocarbon gas feed and separate the trash gases into a separate trash gas feed. Each of the separated hydrogen gas feeds provides clean hydrocarbon based gases. A pre quantitative analysis module is configured to analyze the clean hydrocarbon based gases in the hydrocarbon gas feeds to determine the molecular weight and molecular structure by percentage of each of the hydrocarbon based gases in each the associated gas feeds and an amount of Carbon by percentage contained within each of the plurality of separated hydrocarbon based gases. The pre quantitative analysis module is configured to analyze the molecular weight and structure of the trash gas in the trash gas feed and an amount of Carbon by percentage therein. A manifold receives each of the hydrocarbon gas feeds and is configured to select one of the received hydrocarbon gas feeds and the associated separated hydrocarbon for output on a first output as a desired hydrocarbon for extraction of hydrogen therefrom and for selecting the remaining hydrocarbon gas feeds for combining an output of the associated separated hydrocarbons on a second output for output to the to the natural gas source. A hydrogen gas processing module is configured to receive the desired hydrocarbon from the first output of the manifold and separate Carbon and hydrogen from the received desired hydrocarbon by breaking a C—H bond to provide hydrogen gas, H2, and a Carbon product. A molecular sorter is configured to direct the separated Carbon product and hydrogen gas, H2, from the hydrogen processing module for storage. A post quantitative analysis module associated with the molecular sorter is configured to analyze the separated Carbon product and determine an amount of the separated Carbon product that is separated from the desired hydrocarbon. The post quantitative analysis module is additionally configured to analyze the molecular structure and molecular weight of each of the separated hydrocarbons combined for output on the second output of the manifold.
