Abstract
A fluid transfer system including a chamber, an active element, and at least one of a dust mitigation structure or a crash mitigation structure is described. The active element is within the chamber and configured to undergo vibrational motion to draw fluid into the chamber and drive fluid out of the chamber. The crash mitigation structure is between a portion of the chamber and the active element.
Claims20
A fluid transfer system, comprising:
- a chamber;
- an active element in the chamber and configured to undergo vibrational motion to draw fluid into the chamber and drive fluid out of the chamber;
- and
- at least one of a dust mitigation structure or a crash mitigation structure, the crash mitigation structure being between a portion of the chamber and the active element.
1 more element
A fluid transfer system, comprising:
- a plurality of cells, each of the plurality of cells including a chamber, an active element in the chamber, and at least one of a dust mitigation structure or a crash mitigation structure, the active element being configured to undergo vibrational motion to draw fluid into the chamber and drive fluid out of the chamber, the crash mitigation structure being between a portion of the chamber and the active element;
- and
- a heat spreader coupled with the plurality of cells.
A method, comprising:
- driving an active element to induce a vibrational motion at a frequency, the active element being in a chamber of a fluid transfer system, the active element being configured to undergo vibrational motion to draw fluid into the chamber and drive fluid out of the chamber, the fluid transfer system also including at least one of a dust mitigation structure or a crash mitigation structure, the crash mitigation structure being between a portion of the chamber and the active element.
