Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for emptying beverage containers, the method comprising supplying a predetermined number of closed beverage containers filled with a beverage, wherein the predetermined number of supplied beverage containers are opened simultaneously by means of a decapping system, and wherein the beverage is subsequently extracted from the predetermined number of opened beverage containers by means of an extraction system comprising suction tubes, wherein the suction tubes are moved into the beverage containers by means of a downward movement, and wherein the suction tubes extract the beverage from the beverage container under a pressure of up to 0.9 bar. The present invention also relates to a device for emptying beverage packages.
