Abstract
A document conveying device includes a document feed tray, a pickup roller, a conveying guide and a projection portion. On the document feed tray, a document is stacked. The pickup roller picks up the document stacked on the document feed tray in a predetermined conveyance direction. The conveying guide is provided at a downstream side of the pickup roller in the conveyance direction and faces to a recording surface of the document. The projection portion has a shape projected from the conveying guide and contacts a part of the recording surface of the small-sized document including both ends of a width direction intersecting the conveyance direction.
Claims9
A document conveying device comprising:
- a document feed tray on which a document is stacked;
- a pickup roller 51 for picking up the document stacked on the document feed tray in a predetermined conveyance direction;
- a conveying guide provided at a downstream side of the pickup roller in the conveyance direction and facing to a recording surface of the document;
- and
- a projection portion having a shape projected from the conveying guide and contacting a part of the recording surface of the small-sized document including both ends of a width direction intersecting the conveyance direction.
