The present disclosure relates to a sealing cap for container sealing and a Mason jar, including a Mason jar body. A bottle mouth is provided at a top of the Mason jar body, and an accommodating cavity is formed inside the Mason jar body. The sealing cap is connected to the bottle mouth, and a through hole communicating with an interior of the Mason jar body is provided on the sealing cap. An air sealing valve is also connected to the sealing cap, and the air sealing valve is placed at the through hole to prevent air outside the Mason jar body from entering the Mason jar body through the through hole. By providing the through hole at a sealing cap middle, air circulation is performed between the inside of the container and the outside through the through hole. A one-way breathable membrane is attached to the through hole.

A Mason jar, comprising a Mason jar body, a bottle mouth being provided at a top of the Mason jar body, an accommodating cavity being formed inside the Mason jar body, a sealing cap being connected to the bottle mouth, wherein a through hole communicating with an interior of the Mason jar body is provided on the sealing cap, an air sealing valve is also connected to the sealing cap, and the air sealing valve is placed at the through hole to prevent air outside the Mason jar body from entering the Mason jar body through the through hole, wherein the air sealing valve is a one-way breathable membrane which is attached to the sealing cap middle and completely covers the through hole, and the one-way breathable membrane allows gas to pass therethrough in only one direction by permeation through a material of the one-way breathable membrane without mechanical displacement of the membrane itself.
