A cable tie device is provided. A first embodiment comprises opposing disc members, each with a central aperture configured to receive a cable tie end. The first disc is comprised of non-linear engagement features within the aperture to engage a cable tie ribbed surface and prevents reverse motion. The second disc incorporates serrated or ratcheting elements to enable unidirectional advancement and secure retention. The object to be fastened is compressed between the inner faces of the discs during tightening. A second embodiment comprises a hub member and a retention disc member connected by at least one deformable arm. The hub features a contoured aperture with engagement elements for receiving the cable tie. The retention disc permits unidirectional tie advancement. During installation, the deformable arm passes through the object and deflects outward as tightening occurs, forming a secure mechanical lock from a single accessible side.
