Label affixing device

A label affixing device comprising:

• a peeling member configured to peel an end portion of a label from a release material of a tape, the tape including the label and the release material to which the label is adhered, and configured to dispose the end portion at an affixing position to affix the label to an adherend, the adherend being an affixing target of the label;
• a conveying path configured to convey the tape toward the peeling member;
• and
• a guide path including a guide surface configured to contact the adherend, the guide path guiding a movement of the adherend in a guide direction, the guide direction being a direction in which the adherend moves along the guide surface, wherein
• the guide direction is a direction from the affixing position toward a peeling completion position at which the end portion of the label is positioned when a section of the label not peeled from the release material due to the movement of the adherend to which the end portion of the label is affixed is peeled from the release material, and
• an angle of the guide surface of the guide path is equal to or less than 90 degrees with respect to a conveying direction along which the tape is conveyed in the conveying path.
