A making machine can include a first forming drum having a pocket and a second forming drum coupled to the first forming drum to define a joining zone between the two forming drums; a first feeding unit to feed a first wrapping material web that wraps around part of the periphery of the first forming drum; an inserter device coupled to the first forming drum between the first feeding station and the joining zone to push the first wrapping material web into the pocket; a second feeding unit to feed a second wrapping material web that wraps around part of the periphery of the second forming drum such that the first and second wrapping material webs overlap in the joining zone forming the pouch; and a third feeding unit to feed the loose product dose into the pocket of the first forming drum covered by the first wrapping material web.
