Abstract

A method for producing a closure-securing means for a container, the method includes providing a container produced from fiber-based material at least in sections and having an opening which is closed with a closure, and forming a closure-securing means for connecting the closure to the container from the fiber-based material. An apparatus, in particular for performing the method and in particular for producing the container, includes a filling apparatus for filling a liquid into a container, a closure apparatus for closing the filled container, and a closure-securing apparatus which allows the closure and the container to be materially bonded together by applying or deforming fiber-based material, wherein the closure-securing apparatus is connected to a supply, in particular a tank, of the fiber-based material.
