Abstract

This electric flying object includes an airframe, a plurality of pairs of propulsors provided around the center of gravity of the airframe when viewed in a plan view, each pair being across the center of gravity, and a control unit that controls operation of the propulsors, wherein: each propulsor includes a fan rotatable around its axis line, an electric motor that drives rotation of the fan, a duct that covers the fan from the outer circumferential side, a thrust vectoring unit that thrust-vectors an airflow generated by the duct on the inner circumferential side of the duct, and a thrust vectoring actuator unit that controls the angle of the thrust vectoring unit; and when any one of the plurality of propulsors is abnormally stopped, the control unit switches the propulsor located on the opposite side of the stopped propulsor across the center of gravity to an abnormality correspondence mode.
