A spacecraft holding system includes upper and lower ring-shaped brackets with inner protrusions, enclosing an internal assembly with a central beam, at least three levers, clamps with peripheral grooves, guiding systems, a central rod, and an actuator. The brackets form a hollow space where the internal assembly resides when closed. Clamps engage with the protrusions, and each lever, hinged to a clamp and the beam, locks onto the beam during operation. Guiding systems facilitate radial clamp movement via guides and pins. The central rod connects to the beam, is preloaded in a closed state with an upper nut, and can be released by the actuator to switch the system from closed to open, enabling the release of the spacecraft.
