Abstract
An example operation includes at least one of predicting an availability of a first charging station at a first point in time, predicting an availability of a second charging station at a second point in time, estimating a first state of charge (SOC) of a vehicle at the first point in time and a second SOC of the vehicle at the second point in time based on state of charge data measured from a battery of the vehicle, selecting the first charging station or the second charging station based on the availability of the first charging station, the availability of the second charging station, the first estimated SOC, and the second estimated SOC, and maneuvering the vehicle autonomously to the selected charging station.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- predicting an availability of a first charging station at a first time;
- predicting an availability of a second charging station at a second time;
- estimating a first state of charge (SOC) of a vehicle at the first time and a second SOC of the vehicle at the second time based on state of charge data measured from a battery of the vehicle;
- selecting the first charging station or the second charging station based on the availability of the first charging station, the availability of the second charging station, the first SOC, and the second SOC;
- and
- autonomously maneuvering the vehicle to a selected charging station.
An apparatus comprising:
- a processor that executes instructions stored in a memory to configure the processor to:
- predict an availability of a first charging station at a first point in time,
- predict an availability of a second charging station at a second point in time,
- estimate a first state of charge (SOC) of a vehicle at the first point in time and a second SOC of the vehicle at the second point in time based on state of charge data measured from a battery of the vehicle,
- select the first charging station or the second charging station based on the availability of the first charging station, the availability of the second charging station, the first SOC, and the second SOC, and
- autonomously maneuver the vehicle to a selected charging station.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed, by a processor of a host platform, cause the processor to perform:
- predicting an availability of a first charging station at a first time;
- predicting an availability of a second charging station at a second time;
- estimating a first state of charge (SOC) of a vehicle at the first time and a second SOC of the vehicle at the second time based on state of charge data measured from a battery of the vehicle;
- selecting the first charging station or the second charging station based on the availability of the first charging station, the availability of the second charging station, the first SOC, and the second SOC;
- and
- autonomously maneuvering the vehicle to a selected charging station.
