Abstract
A seat including at least one padding. The padding includes a first part of a clamping device as well as a three-dimensional network structure. The three-dimensional network structure consists of randomly bonded meshes of one or more continuous linear structures, which are welded together at crossing points and contain at least one thermoplastic elastomer. The material of the first part of the clamping device fills gaps between the linear structures of the network structure. Furthermore, the application relates to a method for producing said seat.
Claims15
Seat comprising
- at least one padding, the padding comprising
- a first part of a clamping device, and
- a three-dimensional network structure consisting of randomly bonded meshes of one or more continuous linear structures, said continuous linear structures being welded together at crossing points, the continuous linear structures comprising at least one thermoplastic elastomer,
- wherein
- the material of the first part of the clamping device fills gaps between linear structures of the network structure.
Method for fastening a first part of a clamping device to a padding, the padding comprising
- a three-dimensional network structure consisting of randomly bonded meshes of one or more continuous linear structures, said continuous linear structures being welded together at crossing points, the continuous linear structures comprising at least one thermoplastic elastomer,
- wherein the first part of the clamping device is attached to the network structure in an injection moulding process using a two-part mould, wherein the parts of the mould clamp part of the network structure.
An injection moulding process comprising injection moulding a melt of a thermoplastic elastomer with a solution viscosity of 2.8-3.2, according to DIN EN ISO 1628-5:2015-05.
