A fuel cell control system that improves the durability of a fuel cell by adaptation to the actual way the fuel cell is used. This fuel cell control system includes: a PM control model that generates an FC power generation command value for causing a fuel cell to output the power necessary for traveling a target endurance distance; a correction unit that, if there is more than a prescribed divergence between an actually measured voltage value of the fuel cell and an estimated voltage value obtained using an IV performance model, corrects parameters that form the IV performance model; an endurance distance prediction model that calculates a predicted endurance distance of a vehicle using the IV performance model with the corrected parameters; and a PM control parameter correction unit that, if the predicted endurance distance does not reach the target endurance distance, corrects parameters of the PM control model.
