Abstract
An electric vehicle charging control apparatus according to the present disclosure comprises a first power conversion unit configured to convert AC power supplied from a grid into DC power; a second power conversion unit configured to convert the DC power output from the first power conversion unit into charging power; and a relay configured to control the charging power output from the second power conversion unit to be supplied to a battery. The second power conversion unit is configured to receive a power application control signal, and when the second power conversion unit receives the power application control signal, the first power conversion unit and the relay may be driven in parallel.
