Abstract

Provided is a saddle-type electric vehicle that allows for smooth connecting of a charging plug to a charging connector and is capable of enhancing convenience in charge. A saddle-type electric vehicle (1) includes: a charging connector (50) via which a power storage (B) is charged; a front cover (7) that covers a front portion of a vehicle body and has an opening (H); and a lid (40) that is of an openable/closeable type and covers the opening (H). The lid (40) is a plate-shaped member having an upper portion (40t) and a lower portion (40b) in a closed state, the charging connector (50) is disposed at a location where the charging connector (50) faces outward through the opening (H), and when the lid (40) is in an open state, the upper portion (40t) is positioned rearward of the front cover (7) in a vehicle front-rear direction.
