Abstract
This vehicle image-device comprises: an image formation device arranged in an internal region of a vehicle dashboard; and a cover which is arranged on an upper region of the image formation device, and which has a plurality of patterns formed on the inner surface thereof so as to adjust the reflection angle of the sunlight that passes through a windshield. The patterns include: a first region having a surface formed at an inclination angle such that the sunlight is incident thereon; and a second region between adjacent first regions. The sunlight can be reflected from the first region so as to travel outside of the eyeline region of a passenger in a vehicle driver seat or to be absorbed in a light trap portion arranged between the cover and the windshield.
Claims20
A vehicle imaging device comprising:
- a picture generation unit (PGU) arranged in an inner region of a dashboard of a vehicle;
- and
- a cover arranged in an upper region of the PGU and comprising a plurality of patterns formed on an inner surface thereof to adjust an angle of reflection of sunlight passing through a windshield,
- wherein the plurality of patterns comprise first regions each having a surface formed at an inclined angle so that sunlight is incident thereon, and second regions each between adjacent first regions, and
- the sunlight is reflected in the first region to proceed toward outside of an eye box region of a driver seat occupant or to be absorbed into a light trap portion arranged between the cover and the windshield.
